FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

Straightforward answers about how home care works with us.

How quickly can care begin?

Timelines vary by location and the type of care needed. In many cases, care can begin within a few days of an initial assessment; urgent post-hospital needs are prioritized whenever possible.

How are caregivers selected and matched?

Caregivers are selected through a screening and training process, then matched to clients based on care needs, schedule, and personality fit. Families can request a change of caregiver at any time.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Scheduling is flexible — from a few hours a week to full-time or live-in care. A Care Advisor can walk through options that fit your situation and budget.

How is payment handled?

Billing details are discussed during your care consultation, based on the services and schedule selected.

Can the care plan change over time?

Yes. Care plans are reviewed and adjusted as needs change — after a health event, a change in mobility, or simply as circumstances evolve.

What happens if my caregiver is unavailable?

We coordinate coverage to help ensure continuity of care, and will communicate with your family about any scheduling changes.

Do you provide care for people with dementia?

Yes — our caregivers receive additional training for dementia and memory-related care, with an emphasis on consistent routines and calm, patient support.

How do I get started?

Start with our Book Care form or call us directly. A Care Advisor will follow up to discuss your situation and next steps.

Still have questions?
